Parking
Parking for the Parade of Homes will be at Oak Hills Church each day of the event, except for Sundays. On Sundays, parking will be at Fiesta Texas. Shuttle service will be from these locations to the Parade of Homes.

Stonewall customs homes are very irresponsible, they don’t meet their promises. I don’t recomend this builder to anybody…check their background…don’t trust them
This may have been the worst San Antonio Parade of Homes in recent memory. Sign of the economic times?
FWIW, the Stadler home was my favorite.
I was impressed with the Nunez home for it’s livability. I got lost in the home with “the best floor plan” and some of the awards given didn’t really seem to fit the houses that I went into. The Nunez home utilized the beautiful scenery much better then the other builders.
I thought the Genesis home was beautiful. I agree this year’s Parade was less spectacular. Rumor is that a few of the usual builders in the Parade are in dire financial straits.

I thought Terramont was pretty but the interior design of this year’s Parade Of Homes looked like someone threw up all around these houses.
The Terramont sudivison is fantastic. I congratulate Southerland Properties and all of the participating builders. You will not find a better location with hill country feel only minutes from San Antonio. As far as the “Throw Up” comment. Don’t Drink so much or maybe work harder so you get the designer job next year.

Stonewall Custom Homes – Buyers Beware! Ask for references and financial statements.
Do not, I repeat, do not trust anyone at Stonewall Custom Homes. They lie, steal from you, break promises and rip off their subs by not paying them when the $ get significant. They know that they won’t take them to court.
Their work is inferior (if they finish it at all), schedules are non existent, they don’t have a cost accounting system at all to tell you where the $ go, and will draw you blind leaving you with a mess. They have no problem lying to your face when they know what they are telling you is false. Their ability to estimate the time and costs of anything is non existent.

Well, I see the business of homebuilding hasn’t changed a bit….. It sounds like I missed out. I heard from a “Producer Realtor” that the homes were “played down a bit”. She said it appeared that there was an element of “common sense” and she said “The homes were believable,well done and sensible”. I thought you might want to hear some “positve feedback” from someone who overheard nice comments from a “new homesales producer”.
The CKC home was Fabulous!! The decorator hit it, and great layout. I am a decorator and Realtor and loved this home. I did think that some of the others were good but not like years past. Really like subdivision. Genesis was really a second favorite!!
I agree with Robert, “”BEWARE OF STONEWALL CUSTOM HOMES”", they are a bunch of liars, once they got your money you wont see them again and once you are in your “dream” new house, workers will start coming asking for payment dues by stonewalls…DON’T TRUST STONEWALLS CUSTOM HOMES…
I recently relocated to San Antonio and am disapointed that I missed the Parade of Homes. Is there any web site that has any pictures of the parade of homes? I heard there was a DVD available. Can I still purchase one?
Stonewall does not pay their subs, I know from experience. See how many liens have been filed on their parade house, I have one!
Per the comments about Stonewall- I notice that none of the bad comments are posted by actual customers..but rather vendors and subs. Maybe if Subcontractors didn’t try to rip-off builders you guys might actually get paid. I am a vendor of Stonewall and I do my work and get paid. I have been doing work for them for 4 years and thier customers are VERY happy.

You used draws from one pre sold to fund your spec. The peoples house is still incomplete. It has been sitting for months not moving because no vendors want to work for you. You are the butt of every joke about builders. You’re right you are passionate, passionate about your wallet. Alot of good people worked on your parade house and you screwed them. Last I heard their was over 160,000 dollars of liens on the parade house. WHAT HAPPENED?! Do a good job and you will be paid huh? Seems to me, the subs did do a great job so why didn’t they get paid? Money must have gone to that nice pick-up you drive. With $160,000 in liens, you are lucky you are able to walk right now. The person who writes as “sabuilder” I think is Matt, because there is not 1 sub that has worked for Matt for 4 years who still does and is happy. If you look at the Bexar county public records website you can find out alot of interesting things about companies and their owners. Do not trust anyone at Stonewall they will take your money and spend it on other projects that need to be completed and yours will keep getting put off, thats where some of the money came from to finish this job. They take advantage of their subs and thats if they pay them at all. They have no actual accounting system, and the other partner Doug is just as much to blame as Matt because he knows exactly what is going on and still does nothing about it. Check out how many liens are on the Terra Mont house right now. Last time I checked it was right at 167,000.00
SABUILDER, I am a customer, or was, and can verify every ststement made about Stonewall in this chain of comments. I would not recommend they build a garage, let alone a custom home.

Stonewall custom homebuilders are liars. They keep saying that they will pay, or that this other guy has the check, but then that other guy got fired and for some reason they can’t write a new check. The liens are up to $138,792.46 on the parade house as of today! So, sabuilder (Matt), pay your bills, everyone did their job now do yours. As far as this, “Piss off Matt or his customers and your lucky if you’ll be able to walk- let alone get paid.”, owing that much money to that many people, I am surprised that you are still walking, and if they don’t get paid then you can’t sell your house, that is how liens work.
